Here are some FAQs about using HEP Builder:
How do I change the name that displays at the top of a HEP?
To change your display name, access the ADMIN area by clicking on the “person” icon in the upper right corner of the HEP Builder platform (it’s the first one in the list). Once you’re in the ADMIN area, click on the gray “Gear” icon on the right of the screen and click on “Edit Profile.” Enter the name you want to display in the “Display Name” section. Don’t forget to hit the blue “Update Profile” button to save the changes.
How do I add additional info (i.e. address, phone number, website, etc.) under the name that displays at the top of a HEP?
To add additional info, access the ADMIN area by clicking on the “person” icon in the upper right corner of the HEP Builder platform (it’s the first one in the list). Once you’re in the ADMIN area, click on the gray “Gear” icon on the right of the screen and click on “Edit Profile.” Enter the info you want to display in the box that’s pre-populated with “Tell us a bit about yourself…” NOTE: If you already had text in the additional info area, just replace it with the new text you want to display. Once you are done adding text, don’t forget to hit the blue “Update Profile” button to save the changes.
How do I add/change the logo that displays at the top of a HEP?
NOTE: The logo/image area will only display a SQUARE image. If you upload an image that is not a SQUARE, you will be given the option to crop the image so it is a square.
To add/change a logo, access the ADMIN area by clicking on the “person” icon in the upper right corner of the HEP Builder platform (it’s the first one in the list). Once you’re in the ADMIN area, click on the gray “Gear” icon on the right of the screen and click on “Edit Profile.” A “Camera” icon will then appear over the default/old logo. Press that “Camera” icon and follow the prompts to upload your photo/logo. Don’t forget to hit the blue “Update Profile” button to save the changes.
TIP: If your logo (or image you want to display) is not a square, create a file where there is white space on the top and bottom of the logo/image so the overall image ends up being a square.
How do I email a HEP to a client?
If you’d like to email a HEP, you must first create a PDF of the HEP you create. Then you can email that PDF to your patient using you own email account. Click here for a detailed step-by-step.
How do I save a HEP and/or access a HEP I saved?
PLEASE NOTE, saving a HEP DOES NOT save the edits you make to the descriptions, set, reps, etc. on an individual HEP. It only saves the base configuration of the exercises. To save your actual edits, you’ll need to create a PDF and save it locally to your own computer. Click here for a detailed step-by-step.
To save the base HEP configuration, follow these steps:
- Create the HEP, but BEFORE you hit the blue “Preview Your HEP” button, press the green icon right below it that says “Save HEP.”
- This will bring up a prompt under the “Search for Exercise” bar near the top left (under the HEP Builder logo) prompting you to give a “Name for this HEP.”
- Enter the name you want, and press the green button next to where you put in the name that says “Save HEP.”
- A pop-up notification will confirm your HEP has been saved.
- You will now be able to find that HEP (and all of your other saved HEPs) by clicking the STAR icon in the upper right.
How do I delete/close my account?
We’re sad to see you go, but we realize HEP Builder is not the right fit for everyone. To delete/close your account, access the ADMIN area by clicking on the “person” icon in the upper right corner of the HEP Builder platform (it’s the first one in the list). Once you’re in the ADMIN area, click on the gray “Gear” icon on the right of the screen and click on “My Account.” Your account details will load and on the left there is an option to delete your account. Enter your password to confirm you want to delete your account, and then hit the blue button labeled “Delete Account.”
